About Avignon


Avignon, the capital of Provence is a medieval city ranked as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site which is explored on foot, though it is also possible to get around on bicycle thanks to Vélopop : www.velopop.fr.
The Baladine, an urban ecological electric bus, is also a means of visiting the city, just a wave of the hand and the bus will stop.

The cultural heritage of Avignon is exceptional: The Popes Palace, Notre-Dame des Doms cathedral, the St. Benezet Bridge, better known as the Pont d’Avignon, the Rocher des Doms, the Calvet museums, Angladon, Vouland, Place Pie and the Halles with its vegetation-covered wall.
